
The A380 programme will be shut down in the year 2021 when Airbus will deliver the last of the A380s to Emirates airlines. There are no other airlines at the moment interested in the A380, so it only makes sense to let the programme goe away.

October 2, 2018, marked a significant milestone for Airbus. The Airbus A321LR received certification. The first A321LR is slated to be delivered to Israel’s LCC arkia by year end. This adds an enormous capacity to the range of the most prominent member of the A320 family, potentially the one that will power IndiGo’s European dreams.

The title for the World’s Longest Flight is set to return to Singapore Airlines, with a little help from Airbus. This year, with the delivery of the first A350-900 ULR, they will get to restart non-stop flights between Singapore and New York within 2018, followed by non-stop flights to Los Angeles next year!

At the Singapore Air Show, Airbus gave an insight into the market forecast for Asia-Pacific region. In 2017, Airbus gained 100 new aircraft orders from 7 customers making it the leader and with Asia-Pacific is on its way to become the world’s largest aviation market, Airbus is on track to maintain its lead in this region.
