EazyDiner ties up with Axis Bank for awesome dining discounts

EazyDiner is easily my favourite table booking and payment app and has been this way for a long time. They came to prominence with the EazyDiner Prime product, which guarantees 25% discount on dining at various restaurants on the platform. Recently, they have built a new product, called EazyPay, which allows you to pay via the EazyDiner app itself. Many credit cards offer a nice discount on this product. For instance, earlier this week, I was able to use my Amazon ICICI Credit Card for a nice 15% discount when I took my family out for a lunch.

Now, they’ve built on top of this new payment product of theirs and tied up for a pretty liberal tie-up with Axis Bank for their Credit and Debit cardmembers.

  1. Why did you use Amazon ICICI for 15% only ?

Indusing, HSBC and even RBL had 30% discount.

Citi & SCB had 20% discount.

  2. Dineout in partnership with HDFC Bank offered this for a long time. You can save almost 42% with that program. 25% discount at partner restaurants + 10% using dineout cash + 15% discount on using HDFC card with no minimum qualifying amount.

The prime membership was offered to select HDFC card holders who got it for free and qualified for 25% discount mentioned above!

I think dineout is still the better choice given the max discount you can get and no minimum invoice restrictions

    • @Deccan sher, I wrote about that too when the partnership launched. https://livefromalounge.com/hdfc-dineout-passport-voucher/

The difference is the scale. And of course the bank. 10K vs 2K restaurants. HDFC Bank vs Axis Bank. And yes, there is a minimum qualifying amount in HDFC too. INR 1500 for the billing is the minimum, and 15% is only for Infinia. Even Diners Black is 10%. So I’d highly recommend you recheck what you read 🙂
