The Airbus A350-1000 is the latest and the largest member of the A350 aircraft family. Qatar Airways was the launch customer for this aircraft type, and they received the first aircraft in February 2018. We were on the delivery flight, and it is impressive what Qatar Airways managed to do with this new aircraft. Since then, there are more A35Ks which have joined the Qatar Airways A350 Fleet.
Qatar Airways will be replacing the Boeing 777-300ER with the Airbus A350-1000 on one of their two daily services to New York JFK this weekend. You will be able to fly the world’s best business class product, the QSuite, on these new planes between Doha and New York from October 28, 2018 [Yes, that is the end of this week!]
Singapore gets the A350-1000’s a few days later on November 1, double daily, and the Doha-Tokyo route will get the A350-1000 from January 1 next year.

Bottomline
The new Airbus A350-1000 is Airbus’s response to the Boeing 777 series of aircraft. And with Qatar Airways replacing the 777s on JFK route, it will be interesting to see how well this variant stacks up against one of the world’s most produced wide-body jets, especially in terms of passenger comfort.
What do you think of the Qatar Airways Airbus A350-1000?
