About one year ago, there was an announcement from Vistara about the new premium beverage offerings they would have on their flights in the months ahead. Jet Airways launched as well as withdrew a new catering from Subway and Krispy Kreme in the meanwhile. But there was no sight of the Vistara catering moving forward.
Turns out this changed yesterday. Vistara has now started serving the Indian Estate Blends from Starbucks India in their flights on business class and premium economy cabins. The Indian Estate Blends is the beans that Starbucks India has been serving since their launch in India, and for the coffee afficiadoes who do not know about it, it is a medium-roast blend.
The coffee will be prepared using French Press, so I seriously hope there is no turbulence in-flight and the coffee service can go through without spillage.
The CSCO of Vistara tweeted out pictures of the new menu today, and the coffee is a go.

Although I’d not just choose my flight on the basis of the food, I really love the strides Vistara is making in the department of Inflight catering and I hope the other FSC with a tail-sign of 9 improvises as well. Also, hope Vistara extends this to the entire flight and not just the front of the cabin.
How seriously do you take your coffee on the plane? Clearly Vistara does.
