IndiGo has signed on for six 787 9 aircraft in its fleet, which will be wet-leased from Norse Atlantic Airways, effective March 2025. They have just announced flights to Amsterdam and Manchester from Mumbai.
IndiGo has signed on for two more 787-9 aircraft in its fleet, which will be wet-leased from Norse Atlantic Airways, effective in 2026. This is the first step for them to fly long-haul to Europe and onwards.
Pakistan Airspace has been closed to Indian carriers. This will mean that many Indian airlines operating flights will have to circumvent Pakistan through the Arabian Sea, and hence delays may be expected for flights.
