As I’m sure we all heard, there was a terror attack in Pehalgam on April 22, 2025, which led to a loss of life. This incident has caused other tourists to want to drop their plans to travel to Kashmir, justifiably, and the ones already there want to come out of there as soon as possible.
Air India and IndiGo mount additional flights from Srinagar
Given the prevailing situation, Air India will operate two additional flights from Srinagar to Delhi and Mumbai on Wednesday, April 23, 2025. These flights are as follows:

Thank you for this timely update. It’s commendable to see airlines like Air India, IndiGo, Akasa, and Air India Express offering free cancellations and rescheduling for flights to and from Kashmir after the unfortunate Pehalgam incident. These flexible travel waivers until April 30, 2025, are a big relief for passengers trying to change or cancel Srinagar travel plans. I especially appreciate the additional flights from Srinagar to Delhi and Mumbai, helping stranded tourists return home safely. This kind of proactive response builds trust in Indian aviation. Kudos to all airlines taking swift action during such a sensitive time.
