Radisson Rewards offering a 25% discount on redemption stays

Various hotel chains have taken to discounting their redemption prices as a way to engage with their members and encourage them to take a trip so that hotels can be occupied again. After Marriott’s Bonvoy programme and World of Hyatt offered redemption discounts, it is now the turn of Radisson Rewards.

Stay for 25% lesser points at Radisson hotels.

Radisson Rewards has launched a promotion which offers you 25% of your points back on redeeming for free nights at a group hotel. You get 25% points back when you register and book an Award Night stay at participating hotels now through October 25, 2020, for stays from October 12 – December 20, 2020. You need to depart by December 20, 2020, for this promotional price to apply. Registration must be completed before check-out of the Eligible Stay. Register here

The 25% points back Award Night Offer only applies to redemption night (hotel room) stays, excluding Category 1 hotels within the Promotion Period and does not apply to other reward options such as Points + Cash room night redemptions. In this case,  members need to have the full amount of points in their account at the time of the redemption. Subsequently, you will receive a rebate of 25% of the points redeemed within 10 business days after completing the stay (For example, if you redeem 28,000 points, you will receive a refund of 7,000 points to your account after checkout).

With this promotion, you would end up paying 11,250 points per night for a Category 2 hotel, to 52,500 points per night for a Category 7 hotel. These gorgeous hotels in Goa could be yours for just 31,500 points per night.

You can also get 15% points back when you redeem points for gift cards and prepaid cards now through October 25, 2020. If you need some points to top off for a redemption, you can buy Radisson Rewards points with a 100% bonus, which is a cost of US 0.35 Cent per point (INR 0.26).

Bottomline

Radisson Rewards current promotion is a good idea in the current times if you would like to benefit from a cheaper redemption to travel in the next couple of months. However, stay away from the gift card redemptions; in my opinion, they are just a distraction.

Do you plan on using this Radisson Rewards points redemption promotion for any bookings?
