Qatar Airways Privilege Club offering a 30% Conversion Bonus (Accor and Fi Money participating)

Qatar Airways has started the new financial year with a new conversion bonus, which could be profitable if you fly Qatar Airways or use Avios currency via the sister programme British Airways Executive Club. The airline is offering a 30% conversion bonus for some banks and hotel partners.

Qatar Airways 30% More Transfer Bonus

Between May 1 and 30, 2025, Qatar Airways is offering an up to 30% Bonus when you convert your credit card reward points or hotel points from various banking partners into Qatar Airways Avios.

The banks that are eligible for the Avios conversion offer in India include:

  • Accor Live Limitless
  • Fi Money
  • Shangri-La Circle
  • World of Hyatt

The promotion will award a single transaction, and not cumulatively. Since this is a bonus being offered by Qatar Airways Privilege Club,  Bonus Avios earned will be credited to an Eligible Member’s Privilege Club account by June 30, 2025. The bonus Avios will be calculated on a single-transaction basis, not on the cumulative sum of Avios converted from Rewards Points when the campaign is active.

Convert Qatar Airways Avios to British Airways Avios

In 2022, Qatar Airways Privilege Club moved to Avios as its rewards currency. It offers a 1:1 conversion and free mobility between Avios in your Executive Club and Privilege Club accounts (apart from your FinnAir, Iberia Plus and Air Lingus AerClub). This means you can earn a 20-30% bonus on conversion for use in the BA Executive Club later. However, before you rush to transfer and empty your balances to Avios, remember that Qatar Airways Privilege Club charges a carrier-imposed booking fee on award redemptions, over and above the taxes and fees.

Bottomline

Qatar Airways Privilege Club is offering a 30% bonus on converting select bank and hotel points to Avios in its programme. This is a good opportunity to receive an upside on the conversion you might have made, with the further ability to transfer these to the BA Executive Club.

What do you think of this 30% Privilege Club transfer bonus? Will you participate?

  1. Hi Ajay,

Is the points tranferred from Axis Bank Olympus cards (erstwhile Citi Prestige) eligible for this bonus offer. I looked through the details; but could not find it anywhere.

    • @Soumya I already listed the Indian partners that would qualify. Those points from Axis Olympus would reflect as Axis, not as Citi anymore
