Deal: Buy JetBlue TrueBlue Points With Up To 125% Bonus (INR 1.21 / US 1.43 Cents) – useful for JAL redemptions

JetBlue TrueBlue has just rolled out its newest promotion on purchased points. We are talking about it now because it has a US and an Indian connection. Let’s go over the details.

Buy JetBlue TrueBlue points with up to a 125% Bonus.

Through Monday, June 9, 2025, JetBlue TrueBlue is offering up to a 125% bonus on purchased points. While different accounts may have different offers, this is the bonus I’ve seen on both accounts in my family. The bonus kicks in as long as you buy 10,000 points in one go.

JetBlue allows you to purchase up to 200,000 points per calendar year, before bonuses. This promotion means you are able to buy a total of 450,000 points, including the bonus, for USD 6,450 (INR 5,45,700), which translates into a price of 1.43 US cents (INR 1.21) per point.

Why consider buying JetBlue TrueBlue points?

JetBlue points are primarily used by customers in the United States to buy tickets on the airline itself. However, the airline has also recently added many new partnerships, including Etihad, Hawaiian Airlines, Qatar Airways, and Japan Airlines.

Good deals exist with their partners, such as Qatar Airways and Japan Airlines. For instance, Bengaluru to Tokyo in Economy Class is 29,000 points on JAL, but the better deal is to spend 59,000 points for an awesome Business Class redemption between India and Tokyo. (and some change for airport taxes). Also, you can use True Blue points to fly on Qatar Airways.

Which cards should you use to buy these miles?

Typically, these point purchases are processed through Points.com and not directly by the hotel or airline. However, you will almost always pay in USD/EUR/GBP, not INR. So, the best cards to earn a bonus are Axis Olympus, Axis Reserve or American Express Platinum Charge Card, as these cards offer an international spending bonus. Nowadays, you can also look at buying with the HSBC TravelOne Card. Beyond these, look at any card that provides a reduced foreign exchange spend conversion or one where you want to meet minimum spend requirements.

Bottomline

JetBlue is selling TrueBlue points with up to a 125% bonus, which allows you to buy points for as little as 1.43 US cents (or INR 1.21) each. They have some fabulous partnerships brewing with Qatar Airways and Japan Airlines. But do your maths before buying.

So are you planning on buying JetBlue TrueBlue points with a bonus?
