I just chanced upon a crazy fare, which is not a mistake fare, and I thought of sharing it with all of you. Just today onwards, Malindo Air is offering a fare between India and Malaysia, that makes it about 70% to fly between the two locations. For instance, there is an INR 10000 Rupees return fare on economy return tickets between the two countries, and there is an INR 33000 business class return fare as well.

To be able to book this fare, you need to book by March 26, 2017. The Travel period is July 1, 2017 through January 31, 2018. Here is the INR 10000 fare for example as advertised.

Malindo is a good carrier with a reasonably good fleet of planes and 32 Inch seat pitch in economy. I have had friends who have used the carrier before and they only have had good things to say about the airline.

Overall, I see this as a great fare for those of you who are planning a trip to Malaysia. You could connect to go to Indonesia or other countries as well, and this is a sale worth checking out.
