JetPrivilege frequently runs promotions where they offer bonus JPMiles when you convert other reward points to JPMiles. The bonus usually ranges anywhere from 20-50%. Now there is a new JPMiles conversion offer where you can get a flat 70% extra miles on conversions.
To earn this bonus, you have to first register on the JetPrivilege website for the offer. Unlike previous promotions where you earned bonus miles in a tiered fashion, here you earn a flat 70% bonus when you convert to 5000 JPMiles or more. This offers appears to be a targeted promotion, so check your emails first. I have received an email but many people have not. Once registered, you can convert points from 29 loyalty programmes to JPMiles through October 31, 2018. The additional miles will be added to your account by November 15, 2018.
You can initiate a transfer from the following programmes:

Bottomline
I don’t remember the last time JetPrivilege ran a conversion bonus this generous. So maybe this is a good time to convert your reward points to JPMiles which will help you get your next cabin upgrade or award ticket.
Have you been targetted for the 70% promotion? Are you going to move points to JetPrivilege with this promotion?
Quite a waste of value to convert points to JP Miles, unless the user has no other redemption opportunities.
Well, your username does say a lot :p
But on serious note, I feel it depends on other redemption partners and values
I wouldn’t recommend Diners black (1 mile = 1 re = 1 JP mile) to convert for eg
Nor probably likes of Citibank premieremiles or diners premium where their miles value is 0.5 Rs yet takes 2 miles- so 1 re to transfer to jet miles.
But for members of say diners club miles or to an extent Citi prestige, the effective value of JP Miles is 50 paise and + bonus- that I feel is definitely worth doing.
I’m not an “elite” but have received this promo and was also able to register for it. I can do a transfer from American Express, YES Bank, SBI Card and SBI Rewardz. When I try to transfer it shows only 25% bonus on 5000 JPMiles and not 70% bonus. Am I missing something?
Hi Ashwant,
Website is showing a 25% bonus even after registering for the offer. What is the catch here?
Seems like this is only targetted to elites, most of the people I have spoken to (blue-silver) haven’t got this.
Not true – I don’t have any status with Jet, but I did receive the offer today.
Just turned silver. Got the mail.
But both cards I have with 5k + jpmiles after conversion, offer bad value (consider JP Miles worth as re. 1 in absolute terms)
