Jet Airways giving free upgrades on Twitter

Jet Airways’ has been celebrating their Get More campaign, which is the first time they got back on conventional advertising in years. Their pitch is, that when at about the same price as a no-frills carrier you could get a ticket on Jet Airways, which is a full service carrier, then why not take it.

Anyhow, back on Twitter, Jet Airways has been dishing out upgrades to people as well. At first, I thought it would be not a transparent process, but it seems it is. All you have to do, is to book your tickets on the Jet Airways website or app, and then send a direct message to Jet Airways on Twitter with your PNR. If you win it, they will announce your name, and send you a reissued ticket with Business class seats instead of economy before hand. So, no gate upgrades but you win an upgrade in this case.

And their twitter feed is full of announcements about the winners, and the winners feeling good about their upgrades!

So, if you are indeed planning a travel with Jet Airways, do have a look at this promotion, and maybe you get to travel in Premiere instead of Economy. Remember, this is only valid for domestic flights and not international ones! There is no date per se of which dates you can travel, and I see people are winning upgrades in July and later as well.

Have any of my readers won themselves a free upgrade on Jet Airways? Let me know, and enjoy the flight!
