IHG’s 2K Every Two Nights, 8K Every Four Nights promotion

IHG One Rewards has launched a new global promotion for summer 2025. It offers members a choice between two bonus point-earning options. This promotion is valid for stays between May 20 and August 31, 2025. Let us review the promotion details.

Members can choose between two offers:

  • 2,000 bonus points every 2 nights
  • 8,000 bonus points every 4 nights

The image is a promotional offer for earning bonus points. It presents two choices: - **Choice One**: Earn 2,000 bonus points every two nights. There is a button labeled "Register for Choice One" and a link to view terms and conditions. - **Choice Two**: Earn 8,000 bonus points every four nights. There is a button labeled "Register for Choice Two" and a link to view terms and conditions. The offer is valid between 20 May and 31 August 2025.

Once registered for one offer, members cannot switch to the other. Eligible stays must be booked directly with IHG and have a nightly rate of at least USD 30. Stays booked using Rewards Nights or Points & Cash are not Promotion Eligible Qualifying Stays for this promotion. Bookings made through online travel agencies or other reservation sites such as booking.com or expedia.com also do not qualify under this promotion. The number of bonus points that can be earned during the promotion period is not capped.

Analysis

This promotion provides flexibility for both short and long stays. The 2,000-point offer benefits those with shorter stays, while the 8,000-point offer is more advantageous for longer stays. Considering IHG points are valued at approximately 0.5 US cents each, the 8,000-point offer equates to a USD 40 value, making it more rewarding for those planning extended stays.

Bottomline

IHG One Rewards’ summer 2025 promotion allows members to earn bonus points tailored to their travel plans. By selecting the offer that aligns with your stay patterns, you can maximise your rewards during the promotional period. Register for your chosen offer before your stay to take advantage of this opportunity.
