While HDFC Bank works through its Internet Banking fiascos due to which there is a temporary bar on issuing new credit cards, HDFC Bank has launched a limited-time promotion for select internet brands, offering 2x points on spends with select merchants using the Diners Club cards issued by HDFC Bank.
HDFC 2X Reward Points on Diners Club purchases Online (December 2020 & January 2021)
HDFC Bank has partnered with select brands for 2X points between December 2020 and January 2021. Every time you will make an online purchase with the brand directly (hyperlinks enclosed), you will get double points, up to a maximum of 2000 bonus points per calendar month across all partners:
Maximum cap on the incremental 1X Rewards on Partner Brands in a calendar month is 2000 points. To be eligible for the offer, pay using your HDFC Bank Diners Club Credit Card at the merchant website/app at checkout. Payment has to be done directly using the HDFC Bank Diners Club Credit Card. The offer does not extend to the brand products available offline or at any other online retailers and domains.
The 2X Reward Points offer applies to
- HDFC Bank Diners Club Black
- HDFC Diners Club Privilege
- HDFC Bank Diners ClubMiles
- HDFC Bank Diners Club Premium
- HDFC Bank Diners Club Rewardz Credit Cards
The offer is not applicable on corporate cards, commercial cards, Diners Millennia or InterMiles Diners Credit cards. The incremental 1X Rewards will be posted within 90 days from the end of the calendar month in which the transaction is completed, and settlement has happened at merchant end. Date of the settlement will be considered for calculating the maximum cap. The maximum cap is applied calendar month wise.
Just as a recap, you earn the following points on your cards with the various variants on the merchants mentioned above:
- Rewardz: 3 points/INR 150 + 3 points/INR 150 bonus [Total 6 points/INR 150]. Monetary Value is INR 1.8 [1.2% cashback]
- Premium/Club Miles/Privilege: 4 points/INR 150 + 4 points/INR 150 bonus [Total 8 points/INR 150]. Monetary Value is INR 4 [1.5% cashback]
- Black: 5 points/INR 150 + 5 points/INR 150 bonus [Total 10 points/INR 150]. Monetary Value of INR 10 [6.6% cashback]
