IHG buys 51% in Regent Hotels & Expands Asia Footprint

InterContinental Hotel Group has added a new luxury brand to their portfolio, with their acquisition of 51% in the Asian hotel brand Regent. They intend to put this brand on top of the InterContinental brand in terms of luxury hierarchy and are starting with reflagging InterContinental Hong Kong to Regent Hong Kong.

Airbnb Introduces Flexible Payments for Travellers

This InterContinental Hotel left guests cold in torrential rains

The InterContinental Marine Drive in Mumbai (apparently) left some guests out on a cold rainy night and did not accommodate them into a room they (apparently) paid for. Is it the case of a reputed brand being at fault, or is it the case of some guests misinterpreting the rules and now taking the hotel to the cleaners?
