A new financial year means new promotions from American Express for their cardmembers. In their newly launched campaign for the American Express Platinum Card, Stronger than Ever, American Express had hinted that for their Platinum Cardmembers, a new cashback up to INR 10,000 was coming for salon spends.

This morning, American Express has launched the promotion, available in the Amex Offers section of your American Express Platinum Card.

As per the promotion, the American Express Platinum Card will credit up to INR 2,500 at Truefitt & Hill and Silhouette Salon locations for members during the quarter. You will need to use the INR 2,500 credit during the quarter and register for the promotion again next quarter.

The following outlets are participating:

• Silhouette Salon: The Oberoi Gurgaon, Trident Nariman Point Mumbai, Trident Bandra Kurla Complex
• Truefitt & Hill: Mumbai (Juhu, Khar, Prabhadevi, Lower Parel, Lokhandwala, Tardeo), Gurgaon, Bangalore, Pune, Chandigarh, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Delhi (Punjabi Bagh)

Having been a customer of Trufitt and Hill for a couple of years, I can tell you that the whole salon experience is a delightful one. However, you can only afford perhaps one of the royal experiences in this entire money spent. You can also pick up salon products from the outlet, or you can adjust it towards the annual membership or get a voucher.

Terms of the promotion

• 100% cashback will be applied every time, and the offer is limited to a maximum of INR 2,500 cashback applied to your Card during the offer period.
• Offer valid on transactions made on the saved Card directly in-person only at participating Truefitt & Hill and Silhouette Salon locations. Valid at India locations only. Excludes online transactions.
• Cashback should appear on your billing statement within five business days from qualifying spend but may take up to 90 days from the offer end date 30/06/2021.

Bottomline

American Express Platinum Cardmembers will be able to enjoy a Salon trip for free when paying with their card, up to a payment of INR 2,500 per quarter. Don’t forget your mask and social distancing protocols while you do that.
