Why you should sign-up for Uber this weekend?

Uber has been offering a pretty generous double referral for new signups for the past ten days or so, and will continue to do so till January 20, 2014. If you haven’t tried out their services yet, and you live in one of the 26 cities they operate in right now, maybe this is a good time to at least sign up, because you would get yourself double the referral amounts in your Uber account, from what is usually offered. For instance, a new account in the USA will be credited with $20, in UAE with AED80, in India with INR 600, in Hong Kong with HKD 140 and so on, which is double from the usual amounts. And you don’t have to use it by January 20 if you don’t want to, use it anytime you please.

If you’d like to use my referral link, I’d appreciate that. You can also leave your link in the comments section below.

Also, a few readers left me coupon codes which could help you get some more money off your Uber rides:

  • HELLOHYD: Rs. 300 credit applied to your account for your first ride in Hyderabad, over and above your referral credit. Expires 31 January 2014
  • MOTORBEAM: Rs. 500 credit for new users over and above your referral credit.
  • UBERSAVE600: Rs. 600 credit for new users over and above your referral credit.
  • ROLLLIKEBOSS: GBP 20 credit applied to your account which expires 30 September 2014.

  1. Sad that they don’t allow debit cards for their transactions and that is why I haven’t been able take to my first Uber ride!
