Marriott Bonvoy launched a Week of Wonders promotion which is being described by them as a week of experiences and offers. Each region gets a different promotion, But one of the headline promotion from a global perspective is that we can all benefit from is the discounts that Marriott Bonvoy is offering on redemptions till November 30, 2020.

Book Marriott Bonvoy redemptions under the Week of Wonders promotion

Marriott Bonvoy moved to a tiered award pricing in 2019, which is off-peak, peak and standard. Prices change depending on the occupancy of the hotel, which determines if they are busy or not.

With this promotion, Marriott states that there will be up to 33% lesser points required for over 7000 hotels around the globe. This could mean Marriott is offering Off-peak pricing at their participating properties. Here is how off-peak pricing discounts prices:

• Cat 1: 33% discount from standard rates (5,000 instead of 7,500)
• Cat 2: 20% discount from standard rates (10,000 instead of 12,500)
• Cat 3: 14.3% discount from standard rates (15,000 instead of 17,500)
• Cat 4: 20% discount from standard rates (20,000 instead of 25,000)
• Cat 5: 14.3% discount from standard rates (30,000 instead of 25,000)
• Cat 6: 20% discount from standard rates (40,000 instead of 50,000)
• Cat 7: 16.67% discount from standard rates (50,000 instead of 60,000)
• Cat 8: 17.6% discount from standard rates (70,000 instead of 85,000)

The discounted pricing is valid for bookings made between October 8 and October 15, 2020, for stays through November 30, 2020.

This means, for instance, you can stay at the ITC Grand Bharat, which is an all-suites resort property, and a Category 6 Marriott Bonvoy hotel, for just 40,000 points per night.

Bottomline

Marriott’s Week of Wonders is a great opportunity to redeem hotels booked with points at the off-peak level for stays through November 30, 2020. If you have any existing hotel stays booked on points, you can also rebook them at these reduced rates. Remember, you can only book till October 15, 2020, with these reduced prices.
