Vistara, last night announced a 48-hour sale starting from October 10 through October 11. All classes of travel – Economy, Premium Economy and Business – across its domestic network are available on sale. In the Vistara Sale today, you would be able to book flights to be able to fly all the way through March 28, 2020.

Bookings under the Sale are open on www.airvistara.com, Vistara’s mobile apps, and through online travel agencies such as Cleartrip, Akbar Travels and MakeMyTrip.
Be aware that if you will look for tickets in the busy season such as a Diwali ticket to go home, highly improbable you will find it across any airline. But on many days, I am seeing some good fares.

Despite earlier statements from Sanjiv Kapoor about the dangers of fare wards and a race to the bottom in terms of fares, UK still remains among the cheapest for advance bookings (in Economy) on corporate heavy routes like BLR-BOM. The stellar full service of Vistara priced lower than the bare bones slim-line seating of Indigo still makes me scratch my head. I can’t imagine they’re anywhere close to breaking even. These fares are just unsustainable…
