In May 2021, Vistara had announced some new relief measures for their Club Vistara members, who could not travel as much over 2020 as they had imagined, and also during the time, there was the second wave. While the complete recap of the measures initiated for Club Vistara members is here, the key points are as follows:

• Extension of Tier Status: Those who achieved their status by flying have been given an extended one-year tier status.
• Extension of Validity of Club Vistara points: Vistara will extend points expiring between March and December 2020 by an additional validity of 12 months.
• Extension of Validity of Club Vistara 1-class upgrade vouchers

Vistara has now completed the major steps in this move. I logged into my Club Vistara Account today to discover that my status had been extended by one year already. The vouchers expiring on April 2, 2021, were recredited, with a full one-year validity added.

Take note that the extensions may still be in process for some of you. For instance, my account was updated on June 4, while Shipra’s was updated on June 5, 2021. Also, remember, updates are not for status earned via CCs.
