Vistara brings back lounge access at Delhi Terminal 3

In November 2022, the Delhi Airport Plaza Premium Lounges (amongst others) were shut without prior intimation to the customers. Since then, Vistara, which was left without a Lounge for its premium customers departing Delhi, had used a restaurant at Delhi T3 Domestic as its provisional lounge.

Vistara customers departing Delhi T3 can now access Encalm Lounge.

Encalm Hospitality, the company awarded the lounge management contract for Delhi Airport as Plaza Premium was let go, had gotten a basic lounge up and running quickly, which was just a reflagging of the original lounge. However, that lounge was only available to bank and card-based customers.

They recently opened their lounge adjacent to the older section (they will now work on integrating the two). This new section is now available to Vistara’s customers who are eligible to access the lounge at Delhi Airport T3 (Domestic). Namely, Vistara’s Domestic Business Class Passengers, Platinum, and Gold Tier customers. The Lounge is adjacent to the erstwhile Plaza Premium Lounge, next to the Food Court on the Mezzanine Level of Terminal 3 Domestic Pier.

Here are some pictures of the lounge which were put out on Social Media.

Bottomline

Encalm Lounge at Delhi Terminal 3 (Domestic) is now operational, and Vistara has signed up to offer the lounge to their premium guests out of Delhi. Vistara’s Gold and Platinum tier customers and their Business Class customers travelling out of Delhi T3 Domestic can access the new lounge with an invitation printed on their boarding pass.

Have you been to the new Encalm Lounge? What has been your experience at the lounge?

  1. Does anyone know if this lounge has shower facilities? I have an upcoming INT to DOM connection at Delhi and would love to take a shower during transit. Alternatively, are there any international arrivals lounges that offer showers?

    • Update on this. I got this response from Encalm from Twitter:

We do have shower facilities available at Terminal 3 on Arrivals. The facility is located near the food court, and you may access the same by directly walking in.   Charges for the same are INR 590 plus taxes for 30 minutes. We also have shower facilities at the Encalm Spa, which is situated at T3 International Departures and Domestic Departures with shower facilities.

  2. I have to say I found Delhi Street better alternate – great food and one could find a nice little corner to sit, as compared to overcrowded lounges with poor quality buffets!
