I am not one for posting videos on my blog often, but this one kind of hit the nail on its head. This video released yesterday by an Indian bunch of comedians, showcases their take on the Indian air traveller, and hence has its rightful place on this blog. Indigo’s cheeky party video “6E boys 6E girls”
Indigo, India’s largest carrier by market share, recently completed 7 years of operations. And the frugal low cost airline threw a party to celebrate the occasion. Not just that, they shot a music video for the party, which even has the usually serious Aditya Ghosh, their CEO, singing and dancing, along with a few cheeky remarks for the competition as well. Have you ever been to a vegetarian washroom at a chain hotel?
I happened to notice on the stream of a follower on Twitter, who is a bigtime traveller for work, a picture he posted from the Marriott Pune. Essentially, Shakahari means Vegetarian in Hindi, and it is the name of one of the restaurants at the hotel. The hotel does not seem to realise the goof-up yet. I hope you can! I haven’t had so much laughter in days like when I was getting done with breakfast at one of Mumbai’s oldest establishments. I walked out and happened to pass by a travel agency’s office, and found something terribly wrong with this picture. Any guesses what is wrong?
