Air India has gone with CFM’s LEAP engines for their narrow body fleet which they will start building with the induction of A320/321neo and 737 MAX aircraft in the coming years.
GE & Safran, which deliver jet engines via their JV CFM, have started to work on next-gen engines which will be more sustainable and cut back emissions by 20% and fuel burn by 20% (over current fuel-efficient engines), making, as a whole, aviation more sustainable. Here are the details.
