Radisson Rewards Promo: 5000 bonus points per stay

Radisson Rewards (earlier Club Carlson) has announced the details of their new global promotion, and from the looks of it, it looks pretty good.

The new Radisson Rewards 5K for Every Stay Promo offers a straight-up 5,000 bonus points per stay, for every stay at a hotel between July 1 and December 31, 2020.

To earn your 5,000 points per stay, you should register for the promotion, here, before your first stay is over at any of the 1100+ hotels around the world. It would be better to just register right away. The promotion kicks in from your first stay itself, and award nights and points + cash stays are also eligible. Bonus points will post along with the other earned points, usually within five to 10 days of an eligible stay. The points earned here are over and above the 20 base points per USD spent and all the elite bonuses that come along.

You earn a maximum of 150,000 bonus points, which would mean the promotion maxes out at 30 stays. The promotion is valid at the following brands:

  • Radisson Collection
  • Radisson Blu
  • Radisson
  • Radisson RED
  • Park Plaza
  • Park Inn by Radisson
  • Country Inn & Suites by Radisson

Here are the number of points you would need to redeem for hotels in every category.

  1. I am thinking of vacationing in Goa for a week in October, might have to make seven bookings to maximize on the points. Filthy me.

  2. No matter how much promotion for points IHG, RADISSON, MARRIOTT, HILTON, ITC or any other chain do, this Hotel industry is not going to revive anytime soon. It will by next April when people will start thinking of points or Miles.

I have 90K miles in Kuwait Airways, after the COVID, their redemption table gone on higher slab.

Lot of accumulation is only good when it’s policy is not changed by Hotel, Airline or Credit Card. They play their games by devaluation.
