Currently, there are three loyalty programs that you can transfer points, namely, IHG Rewards Club, Taj Innercircle and Radisson Rewards (formerly known as Club Carlson). Hilton Honors, which was a transfer partner as well, has left the program a few months ago in November 2017. Radisson Rewards was brought on board in 2015 by Citibank when they were trying to strengthen the product proposition for their PremierMiles portfolio.

Citi Prestige India points transferring to Radisson Rewards convert at 1 Citi Point = 4 Radisson Rewards points. Citi PremierMiles India convert at 2 Citi PremierMiles = 1 Radisson Rewards Points.

It turns out, Citi and Radisson Rewards are parting ways on this partnership shortly. Effective June 7, 2018 cardholders will no longer be able to transfer reward points to Radisson Rewards.

 

It is simple and straightforward, hence. If you have any stays you would like to plan with Radisson Rewards points and are banking on transferring from your Citibank points accounts; you only have until June 7, 2018, to implement the transfer.

Ultimately, I am not saddened to see the Radisson Rewards Citi partnership dissolve. With Radisson offering so many promotions it is relatively easy to stack up Radisson Rewards points. Though I do wish that sooner than later Citi adds Marriott Rewards and World of Hyatt as a transfer partner.
