Marriott Bonvoy Credit Card Promotion: Earn additional 2,000 Bonus Points during “Earn Two Ways” Promotion

Marriott Bonvoy opened for registration a new promotion is for stays during the fall and winter months. The new Marriott Global Promotion for 2024 is called Earn Two Way and is valid at all the 9,000+ Marriott hotels available worldwide. However, there is also, a simultaneous promotion being offered for credit card customers as well.

Marriott Credit Card Promotion Fall/Winter 2024: Earn an Additional 2,000 bonus points

The new Earn Two Ways Promotion offers you  2,000 Marriott Bonvoy bonus points on each post-registration paid stay of two or more nights at any participating Marriott Bonvoy property, resort, or destination, plus an additional 2,000 Marriott Bonvoy bonus Points on each eligible paid stay of two or more nights at MGM Collection with Marriott Bonvoy destinations.

However, another promotion will be offered in parallel for the Marriott Bonvoy Credit Card holders. Suppose you have a card issued in Canada, China, India, Japan, Mexico, Saudi Arabia, South Korea, United Kingdom, United States, United Arab Emirates, or Qatar, already issued as of August 16, 2024, you can register for this Cardmember-specific promotion and earn an additional 2,000 points for revenue stays at Marriott Bonvoy participating properties, just for holding the card (Apply for the HDFC Bank Marriott Bonvoy Credit Card in India). Only the primary card members qualify.

Only paid stays of two or more nights, booked on Marriott.com or the hotel website, or Virtuoso/Marriott Luminos-Stars agents such as us, and completed after  registration that occurs, in whole or in part, during the Promotion Period at Marriott Bonvoy participating properties are eligible for this promotion. Also, the points will be granted only to people whose credit cards are live and not in default.

Only one room at one property on each Eligible Stay is counted toward a member’s eligible nights for this promotion. Award redemption stays, including Cash + Points Awards,  Free Night Awards, or a Points redemption stay, do not qualify for this promotion.

All Marriott Bonvoy properties are participating in the promotion except for the following properties, which are not eligible for this promotion: The Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection, Homes & Villas by Marriott Bonvoy, Marriott Executive Apartments, and owner-occupied weeks at Marriott Vacation Club, Grand Residences by Marriott, Marriott Grand Residence Club, Sheraton Vacation Club, Westin Vacation Club, The Ritz-Carlton Club, St. Regis Residence Club and Luxury Collection Residence Club.

Bottomline

This is a good promotion for business you’d typically do with Marriott. For stays of two nights or more, you get 2000 bonus Marriott Bonvoy Points. If you are a Marriott Bonvoy Credit Card holder, you can register for a second parallel promotion, which gets you an additional 2,000 bonus Marriott Bonvoy points. Thus, you get 4,000 bonus points per stay of 2 nights+ if you are a card member. Every point counts, so you are better off registering right away.
