Singapore Airlines, last month, had some crazy good redemptions on their Spontaneous Escapes promotion. Now, Singapore Airlines is back with another round of the Krisflyer Spontaneous Escapes promotion where you can book award redemptions for far fewer KrisFlyer miles than you’d normally do. Last time, we saw these promotional redemption rates on SQ flights to the US and in Asia. This time around, there are a few European and Kangaroo routes as well.
Fly premium economy on the world’s longest flight between Singapore and New York for 40,000 miles, against the usual of 70,000 miles. Prefer the West Coast instead? 38,000 miles will get you a premium economy seat on the non-stop flight between Singapore and Los Angeles, or San Fransisco, against the usual of 65,000 miles. Book till October 31, 2018, for travel from November 1, 2018, through November 30, 2018.
Other popular routes include Singapore – Sydney, and Singapore – Melbourne which would cost you only 40,600 KrisFlyer miles for a one-way business class ticket. Indian destinations are covered too! A business class ticket from the Metros such as Delhi, Mumbai & Chennai, apart from Ahmedabad to Singapore would set you back by just 24,500 miles instead of 35,000 miles which is the usual redemption. Not bad for a seat that goes upwards of INR 90,000 one-way.
You can see a recap of all the routes here.
Key terms and conditions of this promotion include:
- Only applicable on Saver redemptions
- Tickets can only be booked online through singaporeair.com
- If any part of the itinerary falls outside the applicable travel period or contains an ineligible flight, the entire itinerary will not be eligible for the promotion
- No stopovers are allowed for this promotion
A good way to avail this promotion, if you don’t have KrisFlyer miles lying around, is to convert your credit card points to KrisFlyer miles. Each Citi Prestige India point will get you four KF miles, an HDFC Bank Diners Black converts 1:1, and you can transfer your American Express Membership Rewards points in the ratio of 2:1 to KrisFlyer.
Bottomline
Singapore Airlines’ hospitality is perhaps one of the best for any airline around the globe. And this is your opportunity to fly around the world with them for some very nominal redemption rates.
Will you be going on a Singapore Airlines flight courtesy Krisflyer Spontaneous Escapes?
