While Air India is going big on launching new flights, Jet Airways is busy with upgrading capacity on existing routes before they do more. Next month onwards, Jet Airways will be up gauging their A333 flight between Mumbai and Amsterdam to a Boeing 777ER. It seems as of January 2017, Jet Airways will be pressing more 777ERs in service, and up gauging the Delhi – Amsterdam – Toronto route as well.
With effect from 14 January 2017, the 77W will start working on the following schedule:
9W234 DEL0300 – 0755AMS1140 – 1410YYZ 77W D
9W233 YYZ1830 – 0755+1AMS1120+1 – 2355+1DEL 77W D
The Boeing 777ER has 8 closed suites in First Class, 30 business class seats in a herringbone configuration, and 308 economy seats.
Here is the First Class suite.
Here is the Business Class Seat & Herringbone layout (on the Airbus 330-200)
Jet Airways is a partner with American Airlines & United for US airlines, but has partnerships with tonnes of other airlines incase you are eyeing redemptions:
- Air Berlin Top Bonus
- Air France/KLM
- Etihad Guest
- AAdvantage
- Emirates Skywards
- United Mileage Plus
The full list is available here.
Bottomline:
Jet Airways’ new service upgrade on the Toronto sector should be beneficial to the American residents as well, because they can add a positioning flight and come across to India on a First Class ticket or a very comfortable business class.

Best I can tell they’re still selling this as a two cabin flight, though. First class doesn’t seem to be for sale.
@Lucky I see F for sale. Tried the Jet Airways website?
