Diwali Promotion: INR 5000 Tanishq vouchers on ICICI Bank Cards!

The ICICI Bank Amex spends promotion offers you a chance to earn Marriott vouchers on spends. However, now there is a new ICICI Bank Diwali promotion, which gets you Tanishq vouchers when you use an ICICI Bank credit or debit card during this festive season. This is very similar to the American Express promotion of the last couple of years.

ICICI Bank Diwali offer

To participate in this promotion, you first have to register by giving a missed call 7069440449 from your registered mobile number. Once that’s done, all you need to do is spend INR 50,000 using your ICICI Bank credit or debit card through November 6, 2018. When you hit the 50K mark, you get INR 5,000 worth Tanishq vouchers as a reward.

If you have add-on cards, all the spends over the primary card and add-on cards are pooled together for consideration. Hence, you only get one voucher per card account.

Spends on Insurance, Tax & Mutual Fund payments do not count towards the INR 50K milestone. You can read the rest of the terms and conditions of this promotion here.

By spending INR 50,000 you get vouchers worth INR 5,000. That’s a reward rate of 10%. Keep mind that this is over and above the usual points you earn on your debit or credit card, including JPMiles on the Jet Airways ICICI Bank Sapphiro Credit Card.

Bottomline

This new ICICI Bank promotion is a good one considering the spend threshold is set relatively lower as compared to the other promotions going on at the moment. With most ICICI Bank debit and credit cards eligible, the 5K Tanishq voucher would be an easy win.

Where all do you plan on swiping your ICICI Bank card to earn Tanishq vouchers?

Comments

  1. I registered using an SMS and spent more than 50k on my ICICI Jet Sapphiro in the Nov first week. I haven’t heard anything about the Tanishq vouchers from ICICI yet. I kind of felt cheated by this promotion.

  2. Not clear what is to be done if both Debit and Credit Card are linked to same mobile number..which one gets registered, or do they both get registered?
