Through July 5, 2017, 10% bonus Etihad Guest miles are being offered to customers of Citibank who choose to transfer their points to Etihad Guest.
Members from the following markets qualify:
- Australia
- US
- Indonesia
- Korea
- Vietnam
- Bahrain
- India
- China
In this case, the T&C state that the base miles (100%) would be transferred immediately while the 10% bonus would come within 7 days. The promotion is valid for transfers made between 8 June to 6 July 2017.
In India, 1 Citi Prestige Reward Point equals 4 EY Miles, and 4.4 in this case. Two PremierMiles transfer to 1 EY Mile, and now 1.1 EY Miles.
This is not a large transfer bonus, and in the past we have seen more generous offers such as 20% to 25%. Etihad Guest miles, in the regional context are great to redeem on partners such as Jet Airways.
If you have an immediate use to the miles, I’d recommend you initiate a transfer now. If you think you would be a while away, I’d hold out for a better offer.

Not much of an incentive to transfer. Am waiting/hoping for BA 50% bonus like last year (Sept) to transfer all my prestige points.
