Emirates Skywards “Double Tier Miles” Promotion

Emirates Airlines and its Skywards Loyalty Programme have just launched a new promotion, which might enable people to earn or re-earn their Emirates status quicker because of Double Tier Points.

Emirates “Achieve the next tier faster” Promotion

Emirates Skywards, the loyalty program of Emirates and flydubai, has launched a limited-time promotion offering double Tier Miles on flights booked between April 21 and May 4, 2025, for travel from May 1 to June 20, 2025. This initiative aims to help members ascend the loyalty tiers more swiftly, unlocking enhanced benefits and privileges.

Under this promotion, members can earn double Tier Miles on all Emirates and flydubai flights booked within the specified period. This acceleration allows members to rapidly progress through the Skywards tiers, gaining access to exclusive perks such as lounge access, priority boarding, and bonus Skywards Miles. You can sign up for the promotion here.

The booking period to avail of the promotion benefits after registration is April 21 – May 4, 2025. To travel and benefit from the promotion and earn double elite miles, the period is May 1 – June 20, 2025. All Emirates Skywards members who register for the promotion and book eligible flights within the booking period can get double tier miles. Existing issued tickets do not count for this promotion.

The challenge with understanding Emirates Tier points is that Emirates does not award tiers or reward miles based on revenue or distance flown, but instead based on its zoning between origin and destination zones.

Understanding Emirates Skywards Tiers

Emirates Skywards features four membership tiers:

  • Blue: Entry-level tier with basic benefits.
  • Silver: Achieved with 25,000 Tier Miles or 25 flights; includes benefits like lounge access in Dubai and 30% bonus Skywards Miles.
  • Gold: Requires 50,000 Tier Miles or 50 flights; offers perks such as priority check-in, additional baggage allowance, and 75% bonus Skywards Miles.
  • Platinum: Attained with 150,000 Tier Miles and at least one qualifying First or Business Class flight; includes First Class check-in, complimentary seat selection, and 100% bonus Skywards Miles.

Bottomline

Emirates Skywards’ double Tier Miles promotion presents a valuable opportunity for members to accelerate their journey through the loyalty program’s tiers. By registering and booking eligible flights within the specified period, travellers can enjoy enhanced benefits sooner, making their travel with Emirates and flydubai even more rewarding.
