Citibank PremierMiles Credit Card is easily my go-to credit card, purely because of the flexibility it offers in terms of earning mileage for air travel (10 PremierMiles/ INR 100) and non-air travel related purchases (4 PremierMiles/INR 100). PremierMiles add up easily, and never expire. Not to forget, you have promotions like double miles every now and then. You can transfer them to 10 different airline or hotel loyalty programs, or use them to book tickets directly at www.premiermiles.co.in by redeeming them for INR 0.5 value per PremierMile spent. You can read my review here, from May 2012. You also get a limited number of trips to the lounge every quarter for domestic Indian Airports.
Anyhow, Citibank has now taken the Member-Get-Member promotion, where they are offering an INR 2,500 cashback for every successful application which is collected through the Member-Get-Member program, and limits to 4 cashbacks per referrer PremierMiles Credit Card. The promotion is actually valid if someone wants to apply for a Citibank PremierMiles credit card, a Citibank Rewards Credit Card, Citibank Cashback Credit Card and Citibank Indian Oil Credit Card.
All that the people who want to apply for the card have to do, is to request a referral from someone who already has the card. The person who has a card can then send an email via this webpage to the referee, where a form will come up and the referee’s application will be logged into the application systems.
The referral program is going on between 21 January 2014 to 20 April 2014. The key Terms & Conditions are listed below:
- The Offer would be extended to referrer only upon issuance of a new Citibank credit card to his referee
- This offer is valid ONLY on following cards
- Citibank PremierMiles Credit Card
- Citibank Rewards Card
- IndianOil Citibank Platinum Credit Card
- Citibank Cash Back Card
- The existing customer who refers (referrer) will be eligible for this offer only if the person (referee) he/she has referred applies for the credit card directly from the automated referral mail received by the referee.
- For every successful card booking, Citibank will give cash back of Rs.2500 within 30 days of the new card issuance for referee.

Has anyone got any cashback so far for referring to CITI?
I referred 7-8 of my friends who completed the online application form, but none have got any calls yet from CITI. Even my dashboard says ‘Not applied yet’ against each of their names.
Pl help if anyone knows how to make it work.

I have referred my friend abhisekh kumar singh for the rewards card and the card has been dispatched from CitiBank(& received by the individual but when I check My dashboard in Citibank referral program website… It says card is under progress. pl action and give my cash back

What is the foreign transaction fees on the Premier miles card ?. Also can a OCI apply for this card.
@Sundhar it is 3.5 percent and as long as you are an Indian resident you can have the card
