India institutes RT-PCR testing requirement for arrivals and transfers via Singapore / Hong Kong / Japan and 3 other countries effective January 1, 2023
India has reinitiated Covid-19 testing on its borders effective January 1, 2023. Arrivals from China, Hong Kong, Japan, South Korea, Singapore and Thailand will be subject to RT-PCR testing before departure to access India. However, even those who are transiting these airports will be subject to the tests from here on.
