Rolls Royce is working on an interesting concept, where they intend to develop engines which can look out for and maintain themselves. Try imagining an Engine where it could send an alert to the ground about a part wearing off and it gets replaced when you land on the ground. Space Age is on its way I guess.

In 2017, Airbus gained 100 new aircraft orders from 7 customers making it the leader and with Asia-Pacific is on its way to become the world’s largest aviation market, Airbus is on track to maintain its lead in this region.
Mumbai Airport main runway shut for 7 hours in Feb 2018
Mumbai Airport has notified to the airlines that they will be keeping the main runway of the airport shut for maintenance 7 hours for the coming fortnight. That should mean delays on arriving and departing from Mumbai. Nothing new, but good to know!

The Airbus A321LR takes its first flight
The Airbus A321LR took to the skies for the first time today, and this new variant of the popular Airbus A320 can make transatlantic with up to 240 people in one go. The plane will be inducted into service by the end of 2018.
Air India will increase flights to San Francisco and Australia
It seems that the Delhi San Francisco Air India flights will go up from 6 a week to 9 a week shortly. Not just that, Australia will get more flights too in the coming days.

Etihad Airways Jaipur exit as of March 1
