Air Canada has launched a new flash sale. Aeroplan is offering miles at up to a 90% bonus, but only through October 29, 2025. This is amongst the highest bonuses I’ve received from Aeroplan (except for an anniversary bonus last year), which is why it’s of interest.
Buy Aeroplan miles with a 90% Bonus.
Air Canada has launched a sale, which offers up to a 90% bonus on purchasing miles with Aeroplan. The bonus is a tiered one, and here is how the various tiers are distributed:
- Buy 4,000 – 15,000 points with a 40% bonus
- Buy 20,000 – 60,000 points with a 60% bonus
- Buy 70,000 – 500,000 points with a 90% bonus
At the top end of the promotion, you can buy Air Canada Aeroplan points at the rate of USD 18,750 CAD / USD 13,359 / INR 11,72,600, which is a rate of US Cent 1.41 / INR 1.24 per Aeroplan point.
The promotion is live through 11:59 PM on October 29, 2025 (9:29 AM IST on October 30, 2025). Even new accounts can take advantage of this promotion. For the duration of this promotion, the eligible limit of Aeroplan points that can be bought per Aeroplan account is increased from 250,000 Aeroplan points to 500,000 Aeroplan points.
Air Canada has various partners, including those outside the Star Alliance, such as Emirates, Etihad, Gulf Air, Oman Air, and Air Mauritius. You can mix and match partner airlines for awards that allow stopovers for a modest fee of 5,000 miles. In the case of Aeroplan, there are no fuel surcharges on award tickets, meaning you should not expect to pay hefty fees when redeeming points. However, occasionally, there are technical issues, such as the current issues with Etihad.
Bottomline
Air Canada is offering up to a 90% Bonus on the purchase of Aeroplan miles through October 29, 2025 (October 30, 2025 in India). You need to purchase a minimum of 70,000 miles to trigger the top end of the bonus, which will bring the price of Aeroplan miles to its lowest point in a long time.
What do you think of this Aeroplan promotion, and will you buy Aeroplan miles at this price?

Ajay a suggestion (Not particularly on this but on posts that are related to buying points)
would be if you could add the cancellation policy on award tickets booked via aeroplan.
Also could Show the comparison on 2-3 routes revenue price vs cost if one buys points with this promotion & redeems For People to know the benefit
(just like the ones on Hilton bonus points purchase article where Maldives property was shown as an example)
Are you going to buy??
@Kapil, I do have stock right now.
