Emirates has launched a new promotion to bring back visitors to Dubai. Much on the lines of similar promotions in the past by the airline, Emirates is offering free room nights in Dubai if you chose to fly with them.
Free stay at the JW Marriott Marquis Dubai
A new promotion from Emirates is offering you your first night in Dubai free when you book an Economy Class return flight to Dubai. If you are flying Business or First Class, you will be able to enjoy a complimentary two‑night stay with an upgrade to the next room category. You also benefit from 24‑hour check‑in and check-out. The stay at the hotel is on a room-only basis and can be taken upon the arrival date into Dubai. Emirates offer applicable on twin‑sharing basis (max 2 adults+ 1 child up to 11.99 years old). Children are going to be accommodated on existing bedding.
Additionally, if you’re travelling back to North and South America or Africa, you get one extra piece of baggage, and 10 kgs more baggage allowance if you’re travelling to other destinations across our network. The additional baggage allowance is applicable only on the return journey from Dubai. It will be automatically updated in the booking reference, and the standard allowance on the ticket will remain unchanged.
Complimentary travel insurance and rebooking
Additionally, Emirates is offering new multi‑risk travel insurance and COVID‑19 cover to everyone booked to travel with Emirates. And if you need to change your plans, we have several options available to you, including extending your flight ticket validity for up to two years and you can change your dates and rebook your ticket free of cost.
How to book & travel period
The promotion is valid for booking by December 23, 2020, and for travel between December 6, 2020, and February 28, 2021. To avail your complimentary hotel stay, you need to email EmiratesOffer@emirates.com with your confirmed booking number, the names of all the passengers in your booking, phone number and email address. Emirates email you your hotel booking confirmation subsequently. You can book directly on Emirates.com or via a travel agent such as Cleartrip.
Eligible flights for this special offer must a return journey. One‑way flight tickets; tickets with final Emirates flights destination outside of Dubai; transiting Dubai passengers; and tickets with a stopover in Dubai, will not be eligible for the Offer. The offer is also not applicable on full redemption tickets where such tickets have been redeemed using Emirates Skywards Miles. Tickets need to be issued on Emirates (ticket number starting with 176), operated by Emirates aircraft and Emirates crew and marketed by Emirates (flight number starting with EK) to benefit from this promotion.
Bookings for this special hotel offer must be made at least 72 hours before arrival. The blackout dates for a hotel stay are from December 27, 2020, to January 2, 2021, both dates inclusive.
Bottomline
Emirates is offering 1-2 nights free of cost when you decide to visit Dubai through February 2021. However, only one room per booking, so if you intend to have more rooms, perhaps an idea to split up your booking accordingly. Look at these nights along with all the restrictions as Emirates paying for your quarantine room when you wait to receive your CoVid-19 test report from the test on arrival at Dubai International Airport. The blackout on New Year’s Eve, however, is a bummer from the perspective of heading to Dubai for a 2021 NYE celebration.
