
The Government of India will keep a tab on fares for flying inside India (both on the lower and higher end) till November 2020 for now. Not just that, there are also curbs on the number of flights which will be operational till November 2020.

IndiGo, India’s largest airline by fleet and market share has announced that they will be letting go about 10% of their workforce in the coming days. This huge cut will be due to the CoVid-19 crisis which has cut the business of the airline to a minuscule fraction of the earlier dominant size in Indian aviation.
