Like you know, Miles & Points are a passion I have pursued over a decade now. Back in the day, like way back, I was as clueless as everyone else about where to start. Over a period of time, I gathered my skillset from a combination of sources and learning from those before me. And now, that skillset helps me and my family travel by the droves while paying for it with miles rather than cash.
The Mileage Mentor MasterClass is your ticket to travelling with your points, miles and credit card points for next to nothing. The first of these was organised in 2018, and since then, we have been able to have more than a hundred people walk through the door and get better with their appreciation of points and miles.
For instance, we did a 15-day vacation in December 2018, where we spent time in Europe chasing Christmas Markets, and we flew Business Class on the way out & First Class on the way back to Mumbai. We paid only for two hotel nights, and everything else came with points.
And now, it is time to pay it forward. It has been my goal to educate people as much as I can to use their miles and earn their miles wisely. Last year, we held Mileage Mentor MasterClasses at Mumbai, Delhi NCR, Bengaluru, Pune and Chennai already.
Given the current situation, we moved the Mileage Mentor MasterClass to an online mode earlier this year, and we already had about 50 participants go through the online format.
While I love the offline format, the intention with the online form was to bring in the fold those participants who wouldn’t want to travel to one of our principal cities to attend a workshop. And sure enough, we had participants from Nagpur, Jaipur, Aurangabad, Varanasi, Kolkata, Howrah, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Bhubaneshwar, Guwahati, Jodhpur amongst other cities around the country. The people from the metropolises continue to join in as well.
We have now planned another MasterClass this weekend. The MasterClass is intended to be a 4-5 hour long, interactive workshop where we start with the basics and then move on to more advanced subjects which should eventually leave you with a strategy on how to earn and burn loyalty points towards travel. The online workshop is split over two days.
In these 4-5 hour workshops, for the beginners and the intermediate level users, we will talk to you on the following lines:
- Miles & Points Concepts
- Airlines: How to Earn those Miles and How to Burn those Miles to get on the pointy edge of the plane
- Hotels: Why being loyal helps you, and how to maximise your hotel loyalty benefits
- Credit Cards: Learn how to generate miles and points on your everyday purchases, and what works best for your spends.
We are going to talk about the Indian perspective and how you can get the best seats in the house from India. After the workshops, we will leave the floor open to help answer your questions.
The Event details are as follows:
- July 25/26 (10:00 AM)
- Ticket once bought is non-refundable. You can, however, transfer your ticket to someone else.
- Internet Access and Computer access will be required.
- In case the event is cancelled, the organiser’s liability is limited to a full refund of the fee paid.
- If you require a Tax Invoice, please send us a mail at email@example.com to receive the same.
The website for ticketing is already live here. The full price of the ticket is going to be INR 6,000 per attendee, inclusive of GST. However, this is the 9th year of the website, and to celebrate a little, we will be pricing the tickets at INR 5,000 per attendee for now.
Here is an exciting story from one of our readers, who managed to go from zero to 80,000 miles by using the knowledge from the forum.
You can book your tickets here. We are looking forward to seeing you all there!
If you can’t make it to the workshop and would like to book a private consultation, sign up here.
So, if you have been looking for the lowest price and missed the pre-booking pricing, you should book now. Here is the link for purchasing your tickets. Also, if you’d like to earn as a family, perhaps you should sign up as a couple as well, given it helps if both the spouses know as much about miles and points and are equally on board.
