There is a luxury brands discount as well, with 29 luxury brands such as Tumi and Jimmy Choo costing 25% less. When you start a Tanishq Gold Harvest scheme with your Amex, you get a 5X bonus Membership Rewards, and double Membership Rewards points when you pay educational institution fees with it.

A new American Express promotion, now allows you to earn up to 5,000 Membership Rewards for shopping at DLF Malls with your Amex cards.

The promotion is applicable only the following cards issued by American Express.

• American Express Centurion Card
• American Express Platinum Card
• American Express  Gold Card
• American Express Platinum Reserve Credit Card
• American Express Platinum Travel Credit Card
• Everyday Spend American Express Gold Credit Card
• American Express Gold Credit Card
• American Express Membership Rewards Credit Card

The promotion entitles 10X Membership Reward points for all transactions done through American Express Centurion Card and American Express Platinum Card, inclusive of the base points. That means if you spend INR 100 on the American Express Platinum Card or the American Express Centurion Card, you get 25 Membership Rewards points, including the base amount of 2.5 Membership Rewards points. That pegs the spend to receive the 5,000 Membership Rewards bonus at INR 22,222 for American Express Centurion and American Express Platinum cards.

For all other cards, you receive a 5X Membership Rewards, including the regular Membership Rewards points on the individual cards. The maximum bonus points to be earned, again, is 5000 Membership Rewards. That means if you spend INR 100 on the American Express Gold Card or the free American Express Membership Rewards Credit Card, you get 10 Membership Rewards points, including the base amount of 2 Membership Rewards points, which pegs the spend to receive the 5,000 Membership Rewards bonus at INR 62,500 for other cards.

Purchases made at the following shopping malls are eligible for the bonus Membership Rewards:

• DLF Mall of India, Noida
• DLF Promenade, New Delhi
• DLF City Centre, Chandigarh

Supplementary cards also qualify for the offer. However, the total cap of 5,000 Membership Rewards points applies across all cards attached to a primary card.
