In case you have been wondering how to still source tickets for the Arijit Singh ‘One Night Only’ concert, which is happening in Mumbai on January 25, 2020, American Express has lined up tickets and even set up a special American Express lounge for their cardmembers. It’s called One Night Only because Arijit Singh is going to be performing in Mumbai only once in 2020.
After the success of their Black Lounge at the U2 Concert in Mumbai in December 2019, where American Express set up hospitality from St. Regis Mumbai and had a special area marked out only for Amex Platinum & Centurion cardmembers and those who were accompanying them, with a great view of the concert. Here are some pictures.
American Express is offering their Platinum cardmembers the opportunity to buy tickets to the sold-out Arijit Singh concert now. Not just that, you can redeem your Membership Rewards points for these tickets.
The American Express Lounge tickets, which should usually cost INR 30,000, can be purchased for a special price of INR 9,500 or you can have them for 30,000 Membership Rewards points per ticket. You should call the American Express Concierge to book your tickets at the reduced prices or redeem your Membership Rewards points. Each Cardmember can book a maximum of 2 tickets per card account for this show
For those who sign up for the Lounge, American Express promises “the best of food and beverage, parking, best stage experience”.
The American Express Lounge experience is only being offered to the American Express Platinum Charge Cardholders, so if you don’t have one, perhaps time to sign up (110,000 Membership Rewards on successful application)
Are you planning to redeem some points or buy access to one of these Amex Lounge options? Would love to hear what do you think of it?
I tried purchasing it with an US issued Amex Platinum card and I was told that it wasn’t available for purchase.
@Sumeet because it is an Indian concert and the offer is by Amex India
@Sumeet — You should be able to get it from US concierge. I’m very sure you’d have to shell out 30K for the ticket though. I’ll be very surprised if they cannot source this for you.
Usually when Amex does lounge in concert, only a specific level of ticket gets lounge access, and you need to buy that level of ticket from Amex. When Amex does lounge in a sporting event, any ticket level can use the lounge using card.
The discount, though, seems to be targeted towards Indian Plat.
Ahhh. already purchased …. may be need to re-sell and go via AMEX:)-
In case anybody needs one platinum ticket pls message ….
