Amex India’s Platinum Travel Card is being offered for a reduced fee of Rs. 3,500 + taxes if you apply before 31 October 2012. I’ve received a few queries in the past about the card. My review is here, and my answer to the reader queries is here.

@AJ An AmEx representative that I spoke to said that this offer is only for existing AmEx customers who might want to switch on to this card. Any ideas on how I might avail of it even though I am not one? Thanks!
@Ajay, I think just send them an email with this screen and ask them to match the offer. Or send an sms to the number mentioned to generate your lead under the offer

In front of me is a brand new AMEX PLATINUM TRAVEL CARD!.
Then I happened to see this post and your other posts which I must say are mindbogglingly informative! Now, I called up AMEX guys to request them to reduce the fee 3500 bucks as thats the price at which the card is going now. Somehow the guy who spoke to me dosent seem to be aware of the reduced fee! Could you please lemme know where you found this banner. I tried searching on AMEX india website and could not find it. Can you please help me with the source of this info.
