Air Italy is one of the youngest airlines having been in business for around six months as of today. It currently flies to 31 destinations across Europe, North America and Africa primarily out of its hub in Milan. Later this year, the airline will start flying from Mumbai to Milan, and also Delhi – Milan. For now, there are some great fares on offer on these Air Italy India routes.

You can fly from Mumbai and Delhi to Milan and back five times a week for as little as INR 29,000 starting from October 29 (Delhi) and October 30 (Mumbai). Bookings are now open on their website.

A quick search for an economy class round-trip showed tickets priced at INR 30,000. I also found that you can book these fares for travel in the next six months.

On the Delhi-Milan front, a round trip in November will set you back by INR 29,000. This is a great deal considering that the only other direct flight between Delhi and Milan, operated by Air India, is priced at around INR 44,000.

What can you expect in term of the product? For starters, they are using ex-Qatar Airways’ A330-200 on this route which has a generous 32″ seat pitch in economy. Also, With the parent airline closely working with Air Italy in all aspects, you should look forward to an excellent soft product as well.

On top of that, you earn Avios when you fly Air Italy which can be used for award flights on Air Italy, British Airways and Iberia.

Air Italy’s promotional fares between India and Milan offer great value for folks looking to travel to Italy without a stopover. Though it is still early days for the airline, we can’t wait to see what new routes and products they’ll have on offer shortly.
