Oldtimers at LiveFromALounge will remember Accor Plus, the dining/subscription programme Accor Hotels offers in Asia Pacific. Using Accor Plus, you can get dining benefits at about 1000 hotels in 20 countries around the Asia Pacific region. This programme is offered on a paid basis and is separate from the ALL programme, which is the loyalty programme of Accor.
I had recently written about how Accor Plus was enhanced. In the same post, I’d also covered another promotion ongoing with Accor. However, I wanted to write a separate post about it now.
Redeem ALL points for Accor Plus Membership.
In case you are keen on getting an Accor Plus Membership but want to avoid paying for it, Accor is running a special promotion these days where you can redeem ALL points on Accor Plus’ website to get the membership free of cost.
This might be a good use case with points floating around like water (thank you, EDGE Rewards). The conversion of points to the Accor Plus membership is being offered till August 31, 2023.
Accor, with the Traveller Membership, is granting a discount on the membership price; given the 4000 Accor ALL points will work out to INR 7,250, and the cash price is INR 7,670. On the other hand, if you redeem the Explorer membership, you will be at a loss as the INR value of the points redeemed will be INR 21,800 compared to the cash version of the product. The difference is the free room night, which you will be better off redeeming your points on or paying in cash if needed if you want to make a redemption.
Bottomline
Througout August 2023, you can redeem ALL points for an Accor Plus membership. The membership is being offered for just 4000 ALL points without a complimentary room night. Still, it will get you access to discounts at all ACCOR hotels in India and any other participating hotel in the Asia Pacific Region as well. The promotion is valid till August 31, 2023.

1. How does one get up to 50% off on dining. Extra explanation helps ease of decision making. I tried on accorplus website but could not see the required info.
2. I remember there used to be one accorplus membership with 2 free nights, has it been discontinued?

@Rags, Diners Dines Free concept. 2 people = 50% off. 3 = 33% off. 4 = 25% off and so on. Accor only sells with one free night or 0 free nights. I’m not aware of two free nights.
