Accor partners IndiGo for HDFC Bank Co-brand card; 50% off hotel rooms and accelerated earnings

The IndiGo Ka-Ching Credit Cards, issued by HDFC Bank and powered by MasterCard, was launched in February 2020.

The new credit cards, in the legacy ways of IndiGo, were branded as ‘Ka-ching’, going after the sound of the money till reference. The cards were launched in two variants, 6E Rewards and 6E Rewards XL. Customers are able to avail of complimentary Air Tickets on activation for an amount of INR 1500 or INR 3000, depending on the variant. The credit cards allow customers to accrue accelerated 6E Rewards on IndiGo transactions. They can also earn additional 10-15% 6E Rewards on dining, shopping, transport and medical spends with Featured Partners.

Furthermore, customers have access to other benefits, including priority check-in, choice of seats, and a complimentary meal. IndiGo is now going full-throttle as it builds benefits on the card and has just brought on board Accor hotels as a partner on the co-brand card.

IndiGo & Accor partnership to offer accelerated rewards on the 6E Rewards Card

IndiGo and Accor have partnered to offer accelerated 6E Rewards on spends across stay, dining and work from Accor hotels across India. The partnership will offer a range of hotels, from Luxury to economy category, to Ka-ching cardholders enabling them to earn 3% on 6E Rewards card and earn 6% on 6E Rewards XL credit card. Under this partnership with Accor, Ka-ching cardholders would be able to earn 6E Rewards across multi-properties in key cities.

If it helps, IndiGo’s parent InterGlobe enterprises own 16 of the Accor hotels across India under the ibis brand. Accor has 51 hotels across various brands such as Fairmont, Sofitel, Pullman, Movenpick, Grand Mercure, Novotel, Mercure, ibis and ibis Styles hotels in 23 cities in India.

As a part of this partnership, Accor and 6E Rewards by IndiGo will come up with exciting offers every month for the card members including hotel stays, food and beverage experiences, and ‘Work from Accor’.

New Accor Benefits for IndiGo 6E Rewards Cardmembers

Accor will offer the following welcome benefits for IndiGo co-brand cardmembers:

  • Flat 50% discount on room nights when booked through Accor Website
  • INR 1000 discount voucher for spends on Food & Beverages across Accor Hotels, Restaurants & Bars

Monthly offerings: Through this partnership of Accor and 6E Rewards, will be offering exclusive monthly offers to members in addition to the other benefits. These special offerings will be applicable on Accor Hotel Room nights, Restaurants, Work from Accor and other product options available at all.accor.com

Accor Hotels new ‘Work from Accor’ offer for Corporates and Business personnel will have a special offer for 6E Rewards members as well. Those who book a room for the day will enjoy high-speed internet, a designated workstation, complimentary meal box, and countless cups of coffee along.

The website has not been updated so far so we don’t have the full details yet, but I will update this post when more details emerge.

Bottomline

IndiGo has signed up Accor Hotels’ India footprint as a partner on their 6E Rewards Credit Card for an accelerated rate. Some of the other perks will include a half-off rate at Accor hotels and discounts on dining. This will be a big new added bonus for cardmembers.

What do you think of the new additions to the IndiGo co-branded credit card?

  2. Hi Ajay,

Sounds interesting. For those of us who are already ALL members (am Gold tier), we will be able to credit the nights to our ALL membership while still enjoying benefits from the credit card. would that be a fair assumption?

Till now, purely Indigo wasn’t enough of a pull for me to get this card. But combined with ALL (Accor Partnership), I might just consider this …. now we are only awaiting “normal” life !

    Trust you are well!
