While this is the period not to travel and stay at home, hotels do not have customers. Hence they have gone back to running sales with deep discounts for extended periods.
Accor Hotels has just launched a new flash sale for its Accor Plus dining programme members in India. The new promotion provides a flat 50% off on rates for stays between May 16 and September 30, 2021. The bookings need to be made directly with Accor on accor.com or their app by May 22, 2021. This offer is available at participating hotel brands in India and Sri Lanka, including Fairmont, Sofitel, Pullman, Mövenpick, Grand Mercure, Novotel, Mercure, ibis and ibis styles.
As an Accor Plus member, I saw the flat out discounted rates when I headed to the site for checking out the Sofitel Mumbai. I could get four nights at the hotel (pre-tax) for under INR 10,000.
However, there is a difference in this sale as compared to the offers Accor ran last year. The rates are non-refundable this time around. If you want to sign up for flexible rates, they are double this price if the few properties I checked reflect a trend. Some hotels are providing breakfast inclusions, while others are not.
For Accor Loyalty Programme, ALL Members, get a 30% discount on their bookings.
Accor Hotels is providing a flat 50% off for their various hotel brands in India & Sri Lanka to their Accor Plus Members and ALL members get a 30% discount. The sale is available till May 22 for stays till September 30, 2021. Be careful, however, if you decide to book, as the rates are non-refundable if you can’t make it.
