A couple of days ago, I sung praises of the HDFC Bank Diners Club Black credit card, which seems to have gotten much interest with the readers. One of the first question asked to me, of course, was the transfer partners for this card. While this information is not readily available, after some digging up, I could find some details.
The base card, which is HDFC Bank Diners Club Rewardz, can only be used to transfer to JetPrivilege or Air India Flying Returns at 1 point=1 airmile.
The mid-end card, which is HDFC Bank Diners Club Premium, can be used to transfer to all the airline partners, but not on a 1:1 ratio. However, they can be used to transfer to JetPrivilege or AI Flying Returns at 1:1 ratio.
The highest end card, which is HDFC Bank Diners Club Black, can be used to transfer to all the airline partners, including JP and AI in a 1:1 ratio.
Here are all the conversion partners, along with the conversion ratios:
To me, the most interesting partners are Marriott and Hyatt hotels, and AAdvantage. Also, it helps that the list is mostly international transfer partners, which are usually not partnered in India.
What do you guys think about the list of conversion partners for these cards?

The HDFC Diners club website suggests that Diners Premium can only transfer to JPmiles and Flying Returns. Is this true or is the above given chart still valid?
@AJ the partners are for the Diners Club Black card. For Premium only JP & AI are valid.
Is the conversion ratio of diners black to el al FF a typo?
I remember it is less than 4000 points for an award ticket from mumbai to tel aviv
@Ajay
Sorry, it was a typo. Has anyone used their portal? Do we have pay extra taxes?
Hi,
Yes. You need to pay some redemption fee every time you generate a voucher on the diners website (i.e., 75 Rs/redemption)
So, booking a movie ticket worth 150 bucks is not really useful. Only helps when you book flights or hotels.
For conversion, the base card Rewardz and Premium are treated equally. Therefore I think rewardz card holders can avail the facility of conversion. Also using https://www.hdfcbankdinersclub.in/ tickets can be booked by generating vouchers. Rewardz/Premium 1RP : 0.75Rs . Black 1RP: 0.75
For a MUM-CDG return ticket, you need to spend 84000 JP Miles. If you use the HDFC bank portal, you can book tickets on a variety airlines and would usually cost between 48000-60000 reward points (Premium) and below 50000 Points for Black
@Bharath, for Black card holders, you get 1 RP = 1 INR rate, not 0.75 RP
What is the eligibility to get this card? How much is the joining/annual fee and how can we get it?
