IndiGo co-branded credit cards offering 2X Signup bonuses for a limited period

IndiGo is offering prospective applicants for co-branded credit cards an additional reason to sign up this month. The airline has rolled out limited-period promotional offers across both its Axis Bank and IDFC FIRST Bank co-branded credit card portfolios, allowing new cardholders to earn substantially more IndiGo BluChips than the standard joining benefits. The promotions come as IndiGo continues to expand the reach of its BluChip loyalty programme and strengthen engagement with its growing base of frequent flyers.

IndiGo Axis Bank Credit Cards: Double the welcome bonus

New applicants for the IndiGo Axis Bank Credit Card and the IndiGo Axis Bank Premium Credit Card can currently earn double the usual welcome benefits.

Under the promotional offer valid through June 30, 2026:

  • The IndiGo Axis Bank Credit Card will provide 2,400 IndiGo BluChips instead of the regular 1,200 BluChips.
      • Card Member will earn 1 IndiGo BluChip for every INR 100 spent on all eligible non-accelerated categories
      • Card Member will earn 2 IndiGo BluChips for every INR 100 spent on all Grocery & Hotel categories
      • Card Member will earn 3 IndiGo BluChips for every INR 100 spent on all IndiGo Channels
  • The IndiGo Axis Bank Premium Credit Card will provide 10,000 IndiGo BluChips instead of the standard 5,000 BluChips.
    • Card Member will earn 2 IndiGo BluChips for every INR 100 spent on all eligible non-accelerated categories
    • Card Member will earn 3 IndiGo BluChips for every INR 100 spent on all Grocery & Hotel categories
    • Card Member will earn 7 IndiGo BluChips for every INR 100 spent on all IndiGo Channels
  • The offer is available on successful payment of the joining fee and significantly boosts the first-year value proposition of both cards.

For reference, the standard benefits on the cards currently include welcome BluChips vouchers, annual renewal bonuses, milestone rewards, accelerated BluChips earning on IndiGo purchases, and travel-related perks.

The Premium variant already offers one of the highest IndiGo earning rates in the market, with accelerated BluChips accrual on IndiGo bookings and select everyday spending categories.

IndiGo IDFC FIRST Dual Credit Card holders get additional BluChips vouchers

IndiGo and IDFC FIRST Bank have also introduced an incremental bonus for new holders of the IndiGo IDFC FIRST Dual Credit Card. Cardholders who successfully obtain the card and meet the offer conditions will receive an additional voucher for 5,000 IndiGo BluChips, in addition to the card’s existing welcome benefits.

The IndiGo IDFC FIRST Dual Credit Card already offers a welcome voucher of 5,000 IndiGo BluChips and a complimentary 6E Eats voucher for customers paying the joining fee. It also features milestone-based rewards of up to 25,000 BluChips annually and accelerated earnings on IndiGo purchases.

  • 6 Bluchips/INR 100 for booking tickets directly on IndiGo channels
  • 3 Bluchips/INR 100 on dining, entertainment & other spends
  • 0.5 Bluchips/INR 100 on other UPI, rent, utility, fuel and wallet

With the additional promotional voucher, new cardholders could effectively receive up to 10,000 IndiGo BluChips as part of the acquisition offer, making it one of the strongest welcome bonuses currently available on an Indian airline co-branded credit card and would help you break even on the usual expected redemptions on BluChip in most circumstances.

Since the launch of the IndiGo BluChip programme, the airline has steadily expanded its ecosystem through airline, hotel and financial services partnerships. Credit cards remain one of the easiest ways for frequent travellers to accumulate BluChips outside of flying.

The latest promotions are particularly attractive because welcome bonuses provide immediate value and can substantially offset the first-year card fee. For travellers already flying IndiGo regularly, these offers could accelerate their path towards earning enough BluChips for flight redemptions or ancillary purchases.

The timing is also notable, coming as IndiGo continues to push deeper into international markets and premium travel segments, making customer engagement through loyalty and financial products increasingly important.

Bottomline

IndiGo’s co-branded credit card partners, Axis Bank and IDFC FIRST Bank, are currently offering enhanced acquisition bonuses for new applicants. The Axis Bank portfolio is offering double welcome benefits, while the IDFC FIRST Dual Credit Card comes with an additional 5,000 BluChips voucher on top of existing joining benefits. For anyone considering adding an IndiGo-focused credit card to their wallet, this is likely one of the best opportunities in recent months to do so.

What do you think of the enhanced welcome bonuses being offered on the IndiGo co-branded credit cards?
