Lufthansa’s new Allegris product to fly between Munich and Bengaluru November 10, 2024 onwards

Lufthansa’s Allegris is the airline’s new cabin product, which has been six years in the making. The Allegris Business Class product finally made it to an aircraft in May 2024, and the airline continues to wait for certification of the Allegris First Class product.

On the Allegris concept, there are plenty of different Business-class seats available, from double beds to suites with extra long beds or extra privacy seats.

The business class cabins introduce five different seating variations. Lufthansa calls them:

  • Front-row Suites
  • Classic Seats
  • Privacy Seats
  • Extra Long Bed Seats
  • Extra Space Seats

All the seats have direct aisle access. The front-row business plus Suites are the only ones with doors. You can have a full look at the products here:

Lufthansa’s Allegris is coming to new routes in 2024

Since the new aircraft entered service in May, Lufthansa has operated the Allegris-equipped A350 aircraft between Munich and Toronto/Vancouver. Currently, the following operations are done with the Allegris-equipped A350s.

  • Munich – Chicago and v.v. on LH436/437
  • Munich – Shanghai and v.v. on LH726/727
  • Munich – San Francisco and v.v. on LH458/459
  • Munich – Vancouver and v.v. on LH476/477

Earlier in the year, Lufthansa committed to Bengaluru receiving the new business-class product in October 2024. They are all set for the new product to fly regularly to Bengaluru but with a slight delay.

The Allegris cabin has been slotted to operate the route effective November 10, 2024.

How do you know it is the new seat? Lufthansa tells you. Note the “Allegris: New seat concept” tag in the booking engine. This won’t be a debut, since Lufthansa has already flown Allegris to Bengaluru at least once, if not more than once.

Bottomline

Lufthansa’s Allegris-equipped aircraft will start flying on the Bengaluru – Munich and reverse route effective November 10, 2024, flying through the rest of 2024. The new business class product has five different seat variations, and you can pick as you like.
