Redeem Accor ALL Points for Accor Plus Membership (or earn bonus points on buying membership)

Oldtimers at LiveFromALounge will remember Accor Plus, the dining/subscription programme Accor Hotels offers in Asia Pacific. Using Accor Plus, you can get dining benefits at about 1,000 hotels in 20 countries around the Asia Pacific region. This programme is offered on a paid basis and is separate from the ALL programme, which is the loyalty programme of Accor.

I had recently written about how Accor Plus was enhanced. Last month, Accor Plus offered their base programme (without the free night) for just 4000 points. Now, they have launched new offers.

Redeem ALL points for Accor Plus Membership.

In case you are keen on getting an Accor Plus Membership but want to avoid paying for it, Accor is running a special promotion these days where you can redeem ALL points on Accor Plus’ website to get the membership free of cost.

This might be a use case with points floating around like water (thank you, EDGE Rewards). The conversion of points to the Accor Plus membership is offered without a firm end date.

Accor, with the Explorer Membership, is offering the membership at a steep price; given the 12000 Accor ALL points will work out to INR 21,600 in value, and the cash price is INR 14,337. So, you will be at a loss as the INR value of the points redeemed will be INR 21,600 compared to the cash version of the product. The difference is the free room night, which you will be better off redeeming your points on or paying in cash if needed if you want to make a redemption.

Buy an Accor Plus membership in cash and receive a 2,500-point bonus.

Another Accor Plus promotion that has been launched recently is that Accor Plus is offering a 2,500 points bonus on signing up for the cash version of the Accor Plus Explorer membership.

This offer only applies to new Accor Plus members in India who join via this specific Accor Plus 2,500 Reward points campaign landing page between September 6-17, 2023, AEST 11:59 pm. This offer is applicable to Accor Plus Explorer membership only, and you should sign up only via accorplus.com rather than any other link in the market, as the points will only be offered for new members and not for those who joined via Hotel Sales, Partnership, Corporate Partnership, and Accor Employee and friends rates.

2,500 Reward Points are roughly equivalent to INR 4,500 worth of points, which you can use for your next stay, so the landed cost of the membership is just under INR 10,000.

The Reward points will automatically be credited to the eligible member’s membership account within 30 days after the end of the campaign, i.e. 30 days after September 17 2023, at the latest.

Bottomline

You can redeem ALL points for an Accor Plus Explorer membership. You can also pay cash and get a room night and a membership, apart from 50 Euro (INR 4500) worth of points if you choose to pay cash.

What do you think of these two Accor Plus Promotions?
