Hilton Honors have announced its next global promotion, which will be applicable for stays from May 1, 2023. The new promotion offers 2,000 Hilton Honors points per stay for hotels and 4,000 Hilton Honors points for resort stays. Details are outlined below.

Hilton Honors “Resort to More Points” promotion launching May 1, 2023.

The new Hilton Honors global promotion, Resort to More Points, will be offered effective May 1, 2023. With this promotion, Hilton Honors members will earn at least 2,000 bonus Hilton Honors points per stay. On an everyday basis, members earn 10 Hilton Honors points per US dollar spent at most brands. Hilton Honors Gold members get an 80% points bonus, and Hilton Honors Diamond members get a 100% points bonus.

The promotion is valid for stays between May 1 – September 5, 2023. Registered Hilton Honors members checking in before May 1, 2023, will receive Bonus Points for their stay if the stay is completed on or after May 1, 2023, and before or on September 5, 2023.

Hilton has 270+ resorts. Here is a list of all the eligible resorts. I spot Hilton Shillim and at least 3 Goa properties on the list.

Registration is required before your first eligible stay, though it will be fine if you are booked before registration. Further, there is no limit to how many bonus points you can earn. There is no minimum stay required either. You can earn bonus points even on award stays.

The promotion is great for a quick/short stay, but for more extended stays, it only profits your account a little. Not just that, you can earn points for award stays as well, and it will be a rebate for redemptions with Hilton Honors.

Ultimately, Hilton Honors have put a lid on their generosity this time, looking at the overall travel climate, and perhaps figured that people would travel and stay with them, whether they offer a promotion or not.
